Questions
Do I really need H&S documents as a sole trader plumber?
Yes. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 applies to everyone, including sole traders. If you work on commercial sites, main contractors will not let you on site without documented risk assessments and method statements. Domestic clients increasingly expect them too, particularly for gas and boiler work.
Are these documents specific to plumbing?
